Organise and complete your Public Services expedition module with TrekCo – for BTEC. For many years the public services have used expedition training to develop various qualities and attributes of their personnel, which both enhance and complement their service training. Through this unit learners gain an insight and understanding of the reasons for carrying out an expedition and will look at the skills required to take part in an expedition, as used by all the public services.

We are Approved Activity Providers for the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award Scheme, so we organise many expeditions and have all of the expertise, equipment and experience necessary to run a great expedition for your participants.

TrekCo run courses and modules in expeditions which fulfil examination board requirements.

BTEC Public Services Expedition modules can be organised, assessed and evidenced by a visit to TrekCo at our site in Sussex – not far from London and accessible from anywhere in the south-east. We also run these expeditions in the Peak District – suitable for many schools north of London and accessible from most areas.

Courses can include camping or indoor accommodation, and are available all year round. You can choose your course length according to what you need to achieve in the time available – it is typical to complete the whole module within your stay at TrekCo. Don’t forget that TrekCo:
