French Alps Trip 2014

Every summer TrekCo run a trip to the French Alps – we go to the southern Alps where it’s sunny and warm, and take Sixth Form students as well as our trainee instructors. This year’s participants saw an action packed fortnight of whitewater rafting, canyoning, mountain walking, rock climbing, abseiling, via ferrata and of course great cooking from our wonderful chef Dionne.

We needed to find a suitable DofE residential for our son who was working towards his gold award. For a student with special needs, we needed to find something that worked for him. The Trekco residential was ideal for the range of activities, excellent location and choice of accommodation, we chose camping as a natural extension to the expedition. The team were approachable, and able to answer any questions beforehand. The residential was a great success and our son had a really great time and enjoyed every minute of it from trying the many new things such as weaselling, rock climbing and abseiling to meeting new people and making friends. He was a little apprehensive beforehand but what a difference when we picked him up! He completed the activities, helped out where he could and worked well as a team. This has raised his confidence and will help him now to complete the remaining elements of his gold award. I would highly recommend Trekco. - Nigel, Parent of Residential participant

GCSE PE Trip

Just wanted to say thanks to you both and everyone that helped with the 2 days we spent in Derbyshire. The kids had a really good time ...You organised everything and made everything really easy for us ..Hoping to organise another one for next year……

The away day was an absolutely brilliant day, it was great to work collaborative with people in the business that you do not normally work with and really build cross campaign relationships.
