TrekCo will be offering a season of GCSE PE climbing courses at very low prices this autumn – we’re offering a set of dates in the Peak District, and another period in Sussex.

Typically GCSE PE in Rock Climbing for AQA, Edexcel or OCR takes two days and our staff, who have delivered many of these courses, will ensure that students have the best opportunity to gain their optimal grades. All of the requirements for each exam board are covered, and we make sure that there is plenty of evidence. We’ll set up video scenarios and provide a highly structured experience which students will enjoy and gain hopefully excellent grades from. 

Our GCSE climbing courses take place in two locations, for ease of access to facilities and efficiency:

  • The Peak District – based near Hathersage, we use the local rocks which are perfect for teaching rock climbing amidst the beautiful scenery of the Peak District National Park. We use a local centre and provide overnight accommodation as well as an evening meal and breakfast and packed lunch for Day 2 of your course.
  • Sussex – from our base at Blackland Farm we can use the local rocks as well as the indoor climbing wall on site. Our location not far from Gatwick Airport (10 miles away) in Sussex is very convenient for anywhere in the south east. As for our Peak District courses, overnight accommodation as well as an evening meal and breakfast and packed lunch for Day 2 of your course are provided.

These two day courses can be done as  2 single days, reducing costs.
