Knowing there’s a host who will welcome you on-board and that the majority of the group are first-timers should also help you overcome any pensiveness you might harbour about entering a roomful of strangers. And if you’re thinking about booking a trip, or if you’ve already booked one, make sure you join the lovely community on our Facebook Group - it’s a great place to find out who else is joining your trip, organise or offer car-shares, and share your photos.
We’ve all been there. We’ve all experienced that mixture of fear, nerves, and all-in-your-head horrors when you’re about to try something new. And what’s more, when you’re about to meet a group of *gasp!* new people!. This is why we’ve put together these Newbie weekends. They’re all about dipping your toe into sociable walking getaways, meeting like-minded people, and enjoying a marvellous weekend away from the stresses of day-to-day life.
Of course if you’re new to Trekco you’re more than welcome to book onto any of our trips, but these trips are geared towards more sociably paced, leisurely walks.
